Horsepower Ranch Clydesdales offers first-class horse and carriage service at the location of your choice or here at our ranch. Looking to rent just a horse without the carriage for photos? We do that too — $250.00 and up is our base rate for a horse and handler, at our location or yours.

We provide carriages drawn by the full team or by a single horse, whichever you prefer, and our award-winning team can perform anywhere you’re having your special event. We also have a white Percheron cross and a team of Belgian drafts.

We have a team of majestic Budweiser-style Clydesdales, a team of Belgian drafts, and a white Percheron cross. We travel throughout the state of Florida to provide the highest quality horse and carriage service. Our horses and carriages are highly photogenic and always arrive meticulously groomed and attired.

A little history
The Clydesdale is a heavy horse originating in the Clyde Valley, Lanarkshire, Scotland, brought to North America as early as the mid-1800s by Canadians of Scottish descent. Especially distinctive are the white hair “feathers” that enhance their natural gait. A Clydesdale — also called a gentle giant — grows to over 2,000 pounds and can pull many times its own weight. These horses eat 30 pounds of grain and 60 pounds of hay a day, and drink 15 gallons of water.
